Apollo Auctioneers set to Compete on the Big Stage: AUSTROS 2025

This week, the very best auctioneers from across Australasia converge in Adelaide for the 2025 Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS)—the most prestigious event on the auction calendar.

We’re incredibly proud to have four exceptional Apollo Auctioneers representing their states and countries at this elite competition:

These talented professionals have each earned their place through hard-fought qualifying rounds, displaying not only skill and confidence under pressure but also their commitment to the craft of auctioneering.

The Australasian Auctioneering Championships are the ultimate test of an auctioneer’s ability to think quickly, communicate with precision, and connect with an audience—all under the scrutiny of the industry’s most respected judges.

Apollo has a proud legacy at AUSTROS, with Justin Nickerson being a three-time champion (2016, 2017 & 2019) and Luke Banitsiotis taking out the 2024 title—highlighting the depth of talent and training within our team.
